Gold Diggers Attack Addicts…

I’m ticked off! Morally, how does the traditional, non-faith, “drug for a drug” method of treating addiction profit from others pain? Lining pockets with “fools gold” seems to be the case except it’s not fake. It’s real money these professional fools sift off desperate people trying to escape addiction! Shouldn’t saving lives and souls be something relatively free? It can be, if we treat addiction with God as the head physician? So how much money do these bandits–doctors and facilities make off of desperate, struggling addicts and their families? I’ ll share more about how much in a minute. Addiction is a spiritual battle whether these professionals want to believe it or not. God should be included every time. Making money off of broken, weakened people is just wrong! It’s all for the LOVE of MONEY or they would include God!

He who loves money will not be satisfied with money, nor he who loves abundance with its income. This too is vanity- Ecclesiastes 5:10

Have you experienced traditional places for recovery that don’t even mention God?

Again, why would you leave God out of the equation anyway when God is the greatest healer?–MONEY!

Quotes about Money root of evil (44 quotes)

This non-faith practice is what has me baffled and boiling at the same time.

Anyone else concerned or questioning this?

If you’re not, maybe you’ll be disturbed, like I am, to find out what I’ve uncovered…

These money making “treatments” are no doubt a gold mine to some and I’ll share those dollar amounts with you. I’ll also share what God says about healing the broken.

I truly believe when they stop relying on Jesus to completely heal an addict then it’ll always be a vicious cycle for addiction.

Jesus is the greatest Physician…

Jesus Our Healer…

Jesus is the ONLY true healer, He has proved it long ago, He said by my stripes yea are healed. Whenever we feel weak, broken or sick, let’s cling to the healing grace of God. Only God can “heal” a person from the inside out and for eternity.

A medical practitioner can only “treat” a person‘s symptoms with other drugs.

We must always believe in Jesus as our cure all and activate our faith to enjoy the healing power of God.

Our Father is able to heal addictions with his love, mercy and grace. He needs no medicines or drugs to help you. He knows no impossibility. When requesting restored well-being, we should ask with faith and trust in God’s ability but trust in His perfect will, whether that means healing or suffering-induced growth. Whatever your self-inflicted journey, God is able to heal and set you free today.

Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise. JEREMIAH 17:14

Peace is what I leave with you; it is my own peace that I give you. I do not give it as the world does. Do not be worried and upset; do not be afraid. John 14:27

The loved ones of addicts are often very scared that they will overdose or otherwise injure themselves or even die. John 14:27 can help remind them that they can find peace through their faith. Addicts can also meditate on this verse when they’re feeling afraid.

Come to me, all of you who are tired from carrying heavy loads, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke and put it on you, and learn from me, because I am gentle and humble in spirit; and you will find rest. MATTHEW 11:28-29

Drug addiction is certainly a heavy load, and many who struggle with it would like nothing more than to put it down and rest. While that’s not an easy task, Matthew 11:28-29 reminds people that Christ will help them shoulder the burdens they struggle with. He offers them rest.

This verse can be very helpful for addicts who are looking for the strength to continue working to get clean. It can be seen as a prayer for addicts. It also fits nicely with the 12 steps of addiction recovery because it asks God to step in and save the addict from themselves.

And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven. Therefore, confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. JAMES 5:15-16

This verse quite directly tells the addict that if they admit their wrongdoings and pray for forgiveness, they will get it. It reminds addicts that no one is beyond forgiveness, no matter what they have done, they can be healed. All they need to do is reach out to God and ask for it.

You have to put one foot in front of the next, hold onto faith and trust in Jesus and let the journey to recovery begin! It may be difficult at first, but recovery will come with ease down the road and you will see victory with Jesus!

More Good News…

Anyone can come from Addiction and Abuse to Recovery Through Christ…

Jesus stepped into our pain. But the fact is, it was our pains He carried — our disfigurements, all the things wrong with us. We thought He brought it on Himself, that God was punishing Him for His own failures. But it was our sins that did that to Him, that ripped and tore and crushed Him — our sins! He took the punishment, and that made us whole. (Isaiah 53:4-5, The Message)

Only One who is fully Man and fully God could know our pain and heal our bodies and souls. Incredible!!

With Jesus, His services are FREE!

But, regardless, I decided to give man a shot to see where they were at healing addiction….

Here’s what I found…

Man is All About Money…

Immediately, I uncovered some evidence of my thoughts on these Money Grabbers… Here’s a great video to watch about brokers trading of information from a network of source for money off of addicts some with treatment scams. All about profiting money through the struggling addict and desperate families at vulnerable times.

It’s basically a money making propaganda especially knowing they leave God out of the healing process.

Here come the money grabber attacks….

Did You Know… ?

Methadone and Suboxone are both opioids used by doctors to “treat addiction”. While methadone is used to treat chronic pain and opioid addiction, Suboxone is only approved to treat opioid dependence. Both are supposed to help wean addicts off of opioid dependence but they inherently keep the addict chained to these opioid drugs.

Suboxone is a medication for treating Opioid addiction, but its main ingredient is an Opioid

Methadone and Suboxone are synthetic forms of heroin.

The National Institute on Drug Abuse estimates that an outpatient methadone treatment program’s total cost to providers is about $126 per week or $6,552 a year (assuming daily visits).

Cost Of Suboxone can range anywhere between $90 to $600 for a 30-day supply or up to $7,200 a year. The cost will depend on the prescription strength, number of doses needed in a day, and whether tablets or strips are used.

And then there is Buprenorphine and Naltrexone- Buprenorphine is an active ingredient in Suboxone, but so is naloxone. Buprenorphine is a partial opioid agonist. It activates the same receptors as opioids like heroin or oxycodone, but only partially.

Buprenorphine for a stable patient provided in a certified OTP, including medication and twice-weekly visits: $115.00 per week or $5,980.00 per year.

Naltrexone provided in an OTP, including drug, drug administration, and related services: $1,176.50 per month or $14,112.00 per year.

Yep! ALL man made heroin drugs making money by preying on addicts and keeping them coming back for more!

My son, Chris was on Methadone for a few years trying to beat addiction in his own flesh but he could not get off that treadmill of going to a “pain clinic” for these Methadone treatments. It was a recycling nightmare that would not end!

He and and I would go toe to toe about methadone being a crutch for addiction. I believe it’s trading a drug for a drug! At that time, he believed he was at least not on street heroin.

He now recognizes Methadone and Suboxone as a crutch to stay in addiction too as he has been clean for two years. Even though these drugs are supposedly “controlled” drugs, addicts justify because it’s not a “street drug.” I’ll get into that justification in another blog post.

The Pot of Gold:

Their all medical thieves out to take your money, suck off the the welfare dollar, and keep your loved one addicted to other forms of drugs.

These doctors trade an illegal street drug for a man made legal drug AND keep your loved one hooked!

Dr. Charles Rosen is a clinical professor of orthopedic surgery and spine surgeon at the University of California, Irvine, where drug reps are only allowed in by appointment, and they can’t leave samples, or buy lunch for staff.

As the co-founder of the Association for Medical Ethics, Rosen says there’s more than enough evidence to know that these seemingly nice gestures can directly impact a doctor’s prescription pad.

“The psychology of it is anytime you’re given a mug, a pen, a meal, there’s a subconscious expectation to reciprocate,” Rosen told Healthline.

Rosen says when doctors change the way they treat patients because of financial incentives from those who profit from their prescription pads, they’re breaking the oath they took when they graduate medical school.

Bribing doctors to prescribe their fentanyl-based drugs and intentionally misleading insurers of patients’ needs for the potent and addictive pain reliever, as reported by The New York Times. “Because you’re getting paid,” Rosen said, “that’s unethical.”

I understand doctors have to make a living. But, do they have to make money off addicts controlled by these drugs knowing it’s synthetic heroin and keeps them hooked?

It’s a Gold Rush…

The opioid epidemic has given rise to an illicit gold rush as patient brokers and treatment centers exploit desperate addicts, funneling them to shoddy treatment centers and fraudulent “sober” homes at a profit of thousands per head. The profiteering, unfolding in communities across the country, has bilked insurers out of millions and created a shady subculture that takes advantage of a vulnerable population. The video will explain how to report on such fraudulent treatment schemes, explore how they have taken root in communities across the nation, how the legal system is trying to curb the problem, and what a healthy addiction treatment model could look like.”- Center for Health Journalism.

This is a BIG- 35 billion dollar money making industry lurking around looking for desperate people in need of treatment.

So many of these bandits are stealing from insurance companies and families.

How about this article…Doctors in Colorado received $4.6 million from 2013 to 2015, according to the article published in the American Journal of Public Health. Nationally, doctors collected a total of $46 million from pharmaceutical companies during the two-year study.

Bottom line…Don’t trust those that aren’t honestly bringing God’s word into treatment.

You Tell Me…

Would you rather trust God who costs nothing and brings salvation or would you rather trust man that is making money off of you or your family and makes no difference with eternity?

Trust is Earned…

35 Bible Verses About Trusting God — Trust the Lord Scripture

God’s Word is GOLDEN…

God has a proven track recorded in the Bible and He has fully earned our trust. Jesus is perfect!

No matter where you are in your addiction, Jesus is the cure!

Man hasn’t earned our trust. He’s imperfect.

Trust no one but God to help your or your loved one. If these addiction “treatment” places or programs ask for tons of money and do not bring God into the healing process-Run!

And large crowds came to Him, bringing with them those who were lame, crippled, blind, mute, and many others, and they laid them down at His feet; and He healed them.-Matthew 15:30
