My Purpose

I’m a writer about addiction with a passion for spreading the word about faith-based recovery.

Welcome my friend in Christ! The good news I share—There is hope for salvation and healing because our great commander is Jesus in this fight against Satan and his demonic forces! We are called to help Jesus by being valiant prayer warriors in this spiritual battle with addiction…

God understands your pain; He is with you always!…

Joshua 1:5 “I will be with you. I will not leave you or forsake you.”

I fully understand loving an addict but hating addiction. I feel your heartache and your gut wrenching, never-ending trials and tribulations. I too have experienced numerous sleepless nights, broken relationships, loss of money and valuables over this relentless nightmare…

I’m Cynthia—a loving and devoted mother of an adult son, Chris who’s struggled with addiction. He’s lived with me on and off through the years caught up in the sinful, destructive, chaos of heroin and Xanax addiction for the past 19 years and now thanks be to God—he’s learning to walk the recovery path…

I’ll share more about my story with my son’s addiction and his recovery steps, how it’s affected him, his children, family members and myself in my “Blogs” and my “About Me” page…

I’m sure you can relate all too well to this horrible, real-life, demonic destruction from opioid drugs, pills, alcohol or any other addiction Satan has inflicted on someone you love and in God’s entire nation.

We’re all devasted and heartbroken—can you even imagine God’s intense grief when His children and families are being destroyed by their sinful ways while following Satan’s lies.

Prayer Holds Great Authority Over Satan…

Our important battle position is to wrap a hedge of protection around our children by being strong and courageous warriors through Christ’s direction and to fight intensely with the good fight of faith through the power of prayer.

Please believe me—through God’s Word in the Bible and from my experiences we hold great strength and authority in fighting this spiritual battle for your addicted love one through prayer!…

God knows our hearts and He feels our pain…

Prayer is very powerful in communicating to God our relentless desire of trying to save our children from the grips of sin through Satan.

We must believe in Jesus and trust God!

Mathew 21:22—”If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.” …

Mark 9:29—Jesus replied, “This kind can be cast out only prayer.” …

Ephesians 6:18—And pray in the spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and request. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

So, hold tight to your faith and pray with conviction! …

Remember, God has a plan for each of his children. We must trust God’s plans and timing and let go of our own timing.

Believe He is the answer for their salvation.

Pray daily for your child and other addicted children of God to believe in Jesus Christ, seek Jesus for salvation, and to resist Satan’s temptations.

Pray for Jesus to strengthen and guide you and other parents and families of loved ones caught up in the cycle of addiction.

Jeremiah 29:11—”For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord.

My Calling...

I strongly sensed early on that God anointed me to be a fervid prayer warrior to be a strong mother and fight this good fight of faith alongside Jesus and his mighty holy army of angels in heaven in this spiritual battle against Satan and to spread His Word to help others fight this horrific battle.

I vowed to never give up on my son, grandchildren or others battling this evil strong hold with drugs that’s destroying families.

I won’t give up!

Please, never give up on your loved one…

I can without doubt tell you Jesus has been my rock through the painful years of trials and heartache with my son on this treadmill of addiction.

Without my faith, love and trust in God and His Word in the Bible I could never have stood so strong through this long, weary, rocky journey of addiction and recovery.

I know, it’s not easy. It’s very painful to watch our loved ones ruining their lives and destroying the lives of those closest to them with drugs and the sinful lifestyle that follows this sin.

But together, with God, we can remain strong by being rooted in God’s Word in the Bible and through Christ that strengthens us! We can stand united with Jesus and His army of angels in heaven to combat this spiritual battle of addiction!
